HOW IT WORKS
First of all, congratulations on your engagement! We’re delighted that you’re considering working with The Letterist on your wedding stationery, and we’re excited to get to know you and walk you through the design, print and finishing process that will translate your love onto paper. Our aim is really to make this as easy and pleasant as possible for you, as we know that you have a lot of other things to worry about on your big day list. We have three brand new collections of wedding stationery for you to choose from, and a pre-selected range of beautiful paper + customization options available for each one. Once you have browsed through and gotten to know our collections, please fill out the enquiry form, and we will get back to you within a week with a detailed quotation for your stationery and information on the process.
collections + CUSTOMIZATION
Each collection is designed with carefully selected typefaces, layouts and formats. As our designs are typographically focused, the appearance and layout of each element may be modified at the discretion of our design team, to best accommodate your names and content, and you may receive multiple layout options for some elements. Changes to fonts or layout outside of this are not offered, but if you do have an idea for a wild paper color not shown in our options, please let us know and we’ll see what we can do. Please note that all wedding stationery elements are available in each collection even if they are not shown on the collection page. Existing collections are updated regularly, and new collections are introduced twice a year, so if you have time...do keep visiting the site and seeing what’s new!
Please allow approximately 4 weeks for delivery of your finished stationery from date of payment. You will receive an estimated delivery date once your stationery is sent off to print. Swifter turnaround times may be possible for an additional rush fee, depending on the suite and customization requirements, and where you are based. Please mention in the enquiry form if you’d like to consider a swifter option.
SCREEN TO PRINT
Please note that the appearance of colors and textures may vary slightly from screen to screen, and from what your printed stationery looks like in person. We highly recommend that you order our print and paper samples in order to fully experience the collections and the range of paper textures, weights and print techniques.
Once you have filled out the enquiry form and received your quotation, a 50% deposit will be required before we commence working on your stationery. Payments can be made via Paypal or transfer to a US bank account. All our fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable. Please note the client is responsible for covering any transactional fees.
We are proud of the work we create and often share sneak previews, photographs or videos of the process on our website, Instagram and Pinterest as we work. If you would prefer to keep your designs private until your invitations have been sent out or until after the wedding, please let us know. If you would like to share any images of our work on your own, please feel free to do so as long as you credit and/or link back to The Letterist.
Shipping + customs
Please note that depending on where you are based, some of your packages may be shipped internationally. The client is responsible for any customs or import charges that may arise.
Though we are all about love on paper, we work with clients all over the world and understand that some of your guests may not have a reliable postal service and may need to receive electronic versions of your Save the Dates, Invitations or Itineraries. Please let us know and we’ll be happy to accommodate you. Please note that digital versions are offered in addition to printed stationery, not as a standalone service.
